Invite Templates

Christmas is just around the corner – sort of –  and  many mums like me will be already planning what to do during the festive season.

I have been asked by many users if we could provide templates that they can easily use for their Purposit invitations. I’m glad to let you know that in a few weeks you will be able to choose the invite text that you like and that will be automatically populated on your event so you can just edit it  -if you want – and it will be ready to be sent to your friends and family in no time.

I also thought it would be nice to provide a variety of templates on our blog according to the season, so parents can have lots of options to choose from. As we are approaching Christmas, our team has put together 7 invitation templates that you can use for your Christmas invites. Hope you find them helpful. I personally like the Ed Sheeran-version.. but that’s just me!

Template 1: Christmas at home

Dear family,

We can’t wait to celebrate Christmas surrounded by our favourite people. Be ready to eat, drink and overindulge – at least a little bit – at our place.

Christmas is an exciting time for our Mike who apparently is on Santa’s Nice list this year!

If you’d like to give Mike a Xmas gift but you’re not sure what to get, we’ve created a special gift wish list for him. You can contribute to any of the gifts and that will surely make Danny oh so ho-ho-happy!

If have something in mind, he’ll love the surprise too – just be aware that Santa may try to take credit for it. He always does….

Template 2: Christmas away from home

Dear friends and family,

As the holiday lights twinkle and we all start overindulging, we become very aware of what really matters: the people we care about.

This is the time of the year when a child’s behaviour improves drastically in a final attempt to make it onto Santa’s Nice list. For what’s worth, our Lisa made the cut this year!

Some of you have asked for gift ideas. If you’d like to give Lisa a present but you are unsure what to get, we’d be overjoyed for you to contribute to one of her special gift wishes.

If you have something else in mind, she’ll love the surprise too – just be aware that Santa may take credit for it.

Dear family and friends,

We hope you are just as excited about Xmas as our little guy, Leon, is! As the big day approaches, Hanna and I have been thinking about the gifts we’d like Leon to have the opportunity to enjoy—not only this Xmas, but throughout his life.

To help him get there, we’ve selected a few gift wishes that he will adore. If you’d like to give him a Christmas present but don’t know what to get, we’d be overjoyed for you to contribute to one of his gift wishes.

We hope you’ll join us in saying goodbye to 2017 by eating and drinking far too much at our holiday party—because there’s nothing like being surrounded by your most favourite people while overindulging.

Christmas is a special time for our own elves Dennis and Nicole.  Some of you have asked about the gifts we’d like them to receive this year. If you’d like to give something but it’s not sure about what to get, we’d love if you could simply chip in for one of the gift wishes we chose for them.

Template 5: Christmas with humour

As we put up Xmas lights in attempts to outdo the neighbours, we watch our Danny write his letter to Santa.

Though we’d love to believe he will end up on Santa’s Nice list, you never know how the wind is blowing up north. So to cover ourselves, we’ve created a list of special gift wishes for him.

If you have another gift in mind, he will love it. But if you are not quite sure what to get, feel free to contribute to any of the gifts we chose for Danny. He will be thrilled with that.

Christmas music is in the air! We are looking forward to seeing our favourite people in the world on the 25th for a Xma karaoke. Watch out Mariah!

Just bring your voice and amazing company. But if you really fell like getting our super teen Danny something, we thought we would create a list of gift wishes we know the wonder boy will love.

If you are short of ideas or unsure what to get, feel free to chip in to any of those gifts.  That way we avoid him getting another MyPillow (thanks, grandma) or Hurricane Fur Wizard (we don’t even have pets!).
